What’s the best thing about your job?

Implementing the WOW for our guests, such as Holiday décor and organizing special events, such as the Fourth of July and Gingerbread Build-off.

What’s the best thing about Kalispel Tribe?

The stability of leadership

What does your workspace look like?

Offices filled with talented Team Members, who obviously love what they do. It’s a happy environment filled with respect for each other and wiliness to support one another beyond primary job expectations.

What’s been one of your proudest moments working at Kalispel Tribe?

Implementing playground area and basketball court down at the Pow Wow grounds.

What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?

Garden and or try out new recipes, especially baking.

What or who inspires you?

Dwayne Johnson

Fill in the blank: I once met…

Death… First year working for the Kalispel tribe summer youth program, got hit with a chain while sitting in the back of a truck. Lucky I turned my head, otherwise the dr’s said I would’ve been brain dead or probably wouldn’t have survived.

How do you define success?

The ability to gracefully move forward from challenging experiences.

What is your favorite event that Kalispel Tribe puts on?

Pow Wow.

What advice would you give to younger tribal members?

Embrace the resources offered to gain self-sufficiency and not become self-reliant on current perks.

Be mindful of your decisions.
