- I am a Compensation Analyst for Human Resources in the Compensation Department.
- What’s the best thing about your job?
- I enjoy being able to help make a difference for not only employees but also the Kalispel Tribe as I provide analysis and administrative support for the Kalispel Tribe of Indians/ Northern Quest Resort & Casino compensation practices. The opportunity to work with friendly and supportive people as I progress in my professional goals also makes going into work fun.
- What’s the best thing about Kalispel Tribe?
- The best thing about the Kalispel Tribe is the willingness and generosity to help people from different communities, ranging from a tribal member needing some assistance to a local charity helping disadvantaged individuals.
- What does your workspace look like?
- I work in the Human Resources building at Northern Quest is an upbeat, collaborative environment decorated with a few pictures of my loved ones.
- What’s been one of your proudest moments working at Kalispel Tribe?
- One of my proudest moments thus far working for the Kalispel Tribe would be as an intern in graduate school when I attended the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians Climate Camp on the Salish Kootenai Reservation in Polson, MT, representing the Kalispel Tribe. I had the opportunity to meet and work with tribal leaders from all over the country to aid in tribal environmental sustainability from a local tribal and policy level.
- What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
- I enjoy golfing, attending concerts, and spending time with my friends and family at local restaurants when I am not working.
- What or who inspires you?
- My family inspires me with their support, hard work, and perseverance. They are always there to support me when I make or reach a new goal/ milestone in life, such as finishing two master’s degrees to studying/ living in another country.

- How do you define success?
- I would define success as the aid and positive impact on a community’s development while supported by loved ones along the journey.
- What is your favorite event that Kalispel Tribe puts on?
- My favorite event that the Kalispel Tribe puts on would be the different music events; it is fun to listen to various music genres in a fun space with good people.
- What advice would you give to younger tribal members?
- It is okay to change your mind and try different paths to find what suits your goals.
