What department do you work in and what is your job title?

I work for the Camas Early Learning Center as the program manager.

How long have you been employed by the Kalispel Tribe?

I have been employed with the Kalispel Tribe for approximately almost seven years.

What’s the best thing about your job?

What I love about my job is that no two days are the same.  I also enjoy getting to know and interact with many of our families in the community.

What’s the best thing about Kalispel Tribe?

I appreciate how supportive and engaging the Kalispel Tribe is.  The amount of services the Kalispel Tribe offers is incredible.

What does your workspace look like?

I share an office with my director and two administrative assistants.  Our workspace changes daily depending on the tasks.

What has been of the proudest moment working for the Kalispel Tribe?

The one that resonates with me is being recognized by the Kalispel Tribe as a volunteer for the CASA program, this one sits at the top of my list.

What or who inspires you?

My inspiration is seeing the children that I’ve had the opportunity to work with succeed and become exceptional young men and women in our community.

How do you define success?

Success to me is constant work in progress.  Always to continue towards perfecting your craft, whatever it may be.

What is your favorite event that Kalispel Tribe puts on?

The Kalispel Tribe has many events but my favorites are the Pow Wow and the Tree of Healing Conference.

What are five words (or less) of advice for others in your profession?

Patience, Empathy, Compassion, and Drive.
