I work at La Rive Spa as a Concierge.

What’s the best thing about your job? Working in such a small, close team.

What’s the best thing about Kalispel Tribe? How well they take care of their
people.

What does your workspace look like? The concierge area has computers, phones,
and gift bags.

What’s been one of your proudest moments working at Kalispel Tribe? Growing
up on the Reservation, you see the growth that our Tribe has made in just that
area. Now, working at the resort, I get to see a bigger picture of our growth as a
business and that to me is a very proud moment; to see how far we have come
and to see how many people love our Hotel, Casino, and Spa.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work? My calculus homework takes
up most of my free time and I don’t dislike it so I guess that’s a fair answer!

What or who inspires you? The work ethic that I’ve seen come from my family is
one of my biggest inspirations.

Fill in the blank: I once met…nobody cool, to be honest.

How do you define success? Success to me is defined by happiness. If I
accomplished everything in life, but none of them brought me any sort of
happiness… it wouldn’t have been worth it to me in the end.

What is your favorite event that Kalispel Tribe puts on? I was away from home and
from Spokane for 6 years so I haven’t been able to enjoy any events the Tribe has
put on but I’ve heard great things about the outdoor concerts and Spa events!

What advice would you give to younger Tribal members?

Take advantage of the opportunities our Tribe has given its people. There’s a lot to say about that but  I’ll keep it
short for the sake of this paragraph 🙂

What are five words (or less) of advice for others in your profession? Never stop
learning.
