I love working with our Tribal Members to find the perfect job for them and helping them build their skills into a career pathway
What is the best thing about Kalispel Tribe?
The Kalispel Tribe offers endless opportunities, from education, employment and many services. The Tribe gives back so much to its members, employees and community all year around.
What does your workspace look like?
I work from my car, backpack and cubicle. I go to where the Tribal Members are and need me at. Tons of flyers, announcements and program syllabuses will be found anywhere I have sat down.
What has been one of your proudest moments working at Kalispel Tribe?
Watching a Tribal Member advance into the career goal we had set in place. A succession plans take time and hard work, but to watch them end successfully is one of my biggest joys.
What do you like to do when you are not at the office?
I chase my kids in their many directions and love spending time with family.
What advice would you give to younger tribal members?
I like to encourage our youth to try new things. Don’t be scared to experience life and the new things you have in front of you. Working hard consistently will make it easier as you’re not playing catch up.
