What department do you work in and what is your job title?

I am the Program Manager for the Pend Oreille Valley CASA Program. You’ll find me at the North Kalispel Tribal Court!

How long have you been employed by the Kalispel Tribe?

I’ve worked for the Kalispel Tribe since August 2015! I’ve worked at the Tribal Court since December 2017.

What’s the best thing about your job?

Getting to work with the community, while advocating for children in our local court jurisdictions and supporting families with their future growth. I also have the best co-workers!

What’s the best thing about the Kalispel Tribe?

The best thing about the Kalispel Tribe is the support that they give to the community, and the opportunities they provide for everyone.

What does your workspace look like?

Oh gosh, it’s a mess. An organized mess — Lots of papers, files and filing to be done.

Why did you want to come work for the Kalispel Tribe?

I was looking for part-time employment that allowed me to continue to reside in my local community and continue college online. That employment quickly turned full-time, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunities that the Kalispel Tribe has given me.

What or who inspires you?

My family and husband inspires me, and never allow me to give up on my goals

What are the words you live by?

Even if you have changed one life, you have changed the world forever.

How do you define success?

Going to bed happy with what you’ve done for the day. “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” -Maya Angelou

What is your favorite event that the Kalispel Tribe puts on?

The Christmas Party! It has always been a time/season that the Kalispel Tribe goes above and beyond to make everyone feel like family and share the holiday spirit!

Listen, everybody walks different paths.
