I am the dentist at The Camas Center Dental Clinic
Briefly describe what your workday looks like?
First thing in the morning I meet with the staff of the Dental clinic. We discuss covid19 issues and review the schedule for the day. Mornings patients are seen from 8 to noon, then lunch, when I often go for a run, or attend a webinar. Afternoon patients are see from 1 until 430, then, after paperwork I often take the bus back home.
What’s the best thing about your job?
No doubt the best part of my job is building relationships with people in the community.
What’s the best thing about Kalispel Tribe?
They are a caring and supportive organization to work for. This facility is a testament to that.
What does your workspace look like?
It’s a very modern and lovely dental clinic.
What has been the proudest moments working at Kalispel Tribe?
I have been here less than a year, but we are already seeing many many more kids in the community, which was an immediate goal.
What do you like to do when you are not at the office?
Before COVID I would have said: play sports. Now it’s fishing and biking and solo running
What inspires you?
The natural world and my family.
